Coping When You Have Severe Nut Allergies Having allergic reactions is certainly not an enjoyable thing but if you have severe reactions, it can be more than just a simple inconvenience. I know plenty of people that have food allergies and some of them have to be so careful that they tend to avoid eating out except on very special occasions.  When they do eat out, they have all of the products and supplies that they need just in case they have a severe reaction that they are unable to overcome.  This is especially the case for friends of mine who have extremely severe nut allergies.
